St. Mark's Fortress

St. Mark's Fortress (Tvrđava Sv. Marka) is a small defensive fortress located on a tiny islet connected to Trogir's old town by a bridge.

Built by the Venetians in the 15th century, it was part of the town's coastal defense system. The fortress is compact but well-preserved and offers a unique perspective on Trogir's military history. Its location on the islet provides excellent photo opportunities of the old town skyline and the surrounding coastline.
